Friday 21st November
Dear Parents & Guardians
Another Friday has come around at St Seton’s and we have had a great week celebrating Bi Cinealta.
Thank you especially to all the parents / guardians who completed our Bi Cinealta Surveys or participated in our focus group. We were especially thrilled to have Daniel Dolan and Conor Palmer, two of our Bí Cinealta Ambassadors, record our first ever podcast, ‘Gan Script’, where they interviewed Catherine Ardagh. The first episode will shortly be available on Spotify for you all to listen too and I can attest that it is a fantastic listen. We are so proud of these two students and this new venture for St Seton’s! Thanks are due to their teacher, Ms Mollison who coordinates our Bí Cinealta programme along with Ms Murphy, our Wellbeing Coordinator.
Please continue to keep Dympna Bynre, our much loved staff member, and her family and friends in your thoughts and prayers. We miss Dympna everyday in school and will always remember how impactful she has been and what a champion she has been for some of our students and their families. If anyone needs support at this difficult time, please reach out to our HSCL teachers or to me. We are a large school community and we are here to support each other, especially at difficult times like this. I will keep everyone in our school community updated on any developments.
Please find below some important notices, reminders and information.
Thank you for taking the time to read this weekly bulletin and keeping up to date with all that is happening in St Seton’s!
I hope you all have a lovely weekend,

Sarah Green
Principal

- Well done to all the 2nd Years who achieved +20 positive points! They were rewarded with a Reward Walk and yummy Hot Chocolate! Keep up the great work!
- Well done to our 1st Year Girls Rugby Team who had great success at their blitz in Clontarf on Monday. Thank you to Ms Murray and Ms McFadden who led them to victory in three of their games!
- Congratulations also to our U19 boys soccer team who had a glorious victory against Firhouse CC this week. Thanks to Mr Eustace and Mr Whelan for their leadership of this team.
- We were so proud of Leah (2nd Year) and Tori (6th Year) who represented St Seton’s at the NCSE Spotlite Student Voice Training on Tuesday. There were wonderful ambassadors of our school.
- Daniel Dolan and Conor Palmer made history recording the first Podcast of our Bí Cinealta Ambassadors – ‘Gan Script’. Thanks to Ms Mollison for supporting the students and this great initiative.
