Good afternoon Parents / Guardians,
It is wonderful to welcome everyone back after the Easter break, with the brighter mornings and longer days bringing a renewed sense of energy to our school community. This final term is a short but very important one, offering all students the opportunity to apply themselves fully and finish the year strongly. We encourage every student to stay focused, make the most of their learning time, and take pride in their efforts over the weeks ahead.
Public Meeting – 21st April, 6pm, Junior Campus
Our students deserve better.
Right now, St Seton’s Secondary School is operating across two separate sites – impacting:
-Learning
-Wellbeing
-Access to facilities
A modern school building has been promised. Now we need delivery.
#SetonsSchool1Community
As you have likely seen, we are holding a Public Meeting next week about the unacceptable situation of the delays to our new school building and the challenges of operating St Seton’s as a split campus school. Please support us by attending this important meeting and having the voices of parents and guardians heard. Below are the details of the meeting which takes place on Tuesday, 21st April at 6pm on the Junior Campus.
Please read the other important and relevant school information below.
Have a lovely weekend and I look forward to seeing a great turnout next Tuesday at the Public Meeting.

Best of luck to Abigail Rooney, who competes at the NFTE Semi Finals on Tuesday! We will be cheering her on every step of the way!
Well done to our Bí Cineálta Ambassadors who represented St Seton’s at the CEIST Student Leadership Conference on Wednesday. The event was held online and our students were terrific presenting their work on Bí Cineálta in action in our school. Many thanks to Ms Mollison for her assistance in coordinating their presentation and supporting them.
Congratulation to our five TY students – Tighe Mason, Daisy Dunne, Ali Aidara, Darragh McKenna and Jack Lacey – who took part in a work experience opportunity with Revenue this week, gaining valuable insight into the workplace.
All TY students recently enjoyed a very worthwhile trip to Explorium. Many thanks to the Maths Department, particularly Ms Drought, for organising this engaging and educational experience.
LCA students enjoyed a visit to Croke Park this week as part of their Gaeilge Chumarsáideach course. It was a great day out, with students learning more about our national sport and the iconic stadium.
Our JCSP Artist-in-Residence returned this week, working with our 2nd Year students alongside Ms Lawless. This continues to be a very positive and engaging experience for all involved.
Well done to the 3rd years and the TYs who successfully applied and interviewed for their places in TY and LCA next year. Thank you to Ms Maher for her coordination and to all the staff who helped facilitate the interviews.
Congratulations and well done to the TY Community Stewardship who finished their project with Maryfield Nursing Home before the Easter break. This is a wonderful project that has been mutually beneficial for the students and the residents.
Best of luck to our Junior GAA Boys Team who have reached the final and are playing in Abbotstown next Wednesday. Well done on this great achievement.
Thank you to Ms Connolly and all the students who helped her with Literacy Week this week in St Seton’s.
