Many thanks to the parents, guardians and young people who attended the St Seton’s Admissions Information Meeting on Tuesday evening in the Civic Centre.
The well attended event was a great opportunity for those present to learn more about St Seton’s and make an informed choice about transitioning to St Seton’s for post primary school. The questions and answers session allowed for engaging dialogue and a chance to listen to the collective hopes for St Seton’s as well as the need for reassurances about some genuine concerns. The presence of so many staff members from the amalgamating schools was acknowledged and appreciated as a strong collective show of support. There was a definite unity of purpose coming from the room as everyone agreed on the importance of St Seton’s being a school that the whole community is proud to be associated with.
The Principal’s presentation from the night is available to view below (or download here). A desire for tours of St Seton’s Le Fanu Road Campus to be offered to the feeder schools was expressed and commitment given to arrange that in the coming weeks.
