A welcome message from the Board of Management

Welcome to St. Seton’s School, Ballyfermot and thank you for your interest in finding out more about our School.

Our School is a Voluntary Catholic Secondary Co-Educational School, operating under the Trusteeship of Le Chéile Schools Trust and Catholic Education an Irish SchoolsTrust (CEIST). It has been created through the amalgamation of three colleges in Ballyfermot; Caritas College, St. Dominic’s College and St. John’s College and will come into being for the new school year 2022-23.

As our Mission Statement states, ‘we will be a welcoming school at the heart of Ballyfermot.’ A school that will strive to provide not only the very best education for the students, it will also offer a holistic approach to the education of the whole person. Carefully balancing excellence in academic standards with the emotional, psychological and spiritual needs of the young adults of Ballyfermot/Cherry Orchard and the surrounding areas. Fostering self-esteem and promoting mutual respect will be central to our philosophy of education.

We will bring the ethos, the excellence tradition of service and the strengths from each of the three colleges to form one centre of excellence for the students. We look forward to working with everyone associated with each of the colleges and those who will work with St. Seton’s School to ensure the very best outcomes for each and every student who is a part of our new school community.
Our website will provide you with information and updates about the School as the year progresses.

Thank You
